This application was heard on 23rd July by Melton Planning Committee where it was unanimously agreed that “the committee instructs that the appeal is opposed in line with the Planning Officer’s recommendation because of insufficient information to enable a conclusion to be drawn on land stability, hydrology and because of the inadequacy of the proposed drainage system plus it is in conflict with Policies EN1 (Landscape), EN6 (Settlement Character) and EN13 (Heritage Assets). There was also mention that it was contrary to SS2 (Development Strategy).

The Planning Inspectorate will now consider the appeal and determine the outcome of this application.
