Welcome to Stathern,

Stathern is a beautiful little village, of approximately 314 homes, in the Vale of Belvoir.

Stathern currently has a primary school, a public house (The Plough), a coffee shop and village store, garage, and  a children's playpark.

The War Memorial Institute provides the setting for  local events and  activities, and the beautiful 11th Century St. Guthlac's Church provides regular services.

Within the Parish boundary, although about 1.5 miles from the village, is Dove Cottage Tearooms and Charity Shop raising money to support the Dove Cottage Day Hospice.

Although the village no longer has a post office, there are currently post office services available in the Plough Inn during the mornings of Thursday and Friday.

The village has a local newsletter, The Stathern Star which is published every two months and can be collected from the Coffee Shot, Plough Inn or the village library (red telephone kiosk). Or click here for an electronic copy.
